Word of the Day
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
A submission for GMTK's third game jam. The theme was "only one" and I was trying to think of types of games that by nature require more than one of something. How about a text adventure with only one word?
I took the idea and ran with it, trying to come up with different and engaging mechanics that would only use one word at a time. After I got the main parts done I wrote dialog until around 2:00 in the morning, at which point I deemed it "good enough."
I hope you like it!

edit: restarting the game worked

Amazing game! Would really love it if the font can change into ones fitting for people with dyslexia.
Oh, that didn't even cross my mind! My apologies. Would someone with dyslexia typically be able to get to the options section? Or should it start from the beginning with a dyslexia-friendly font?
Definitely start with a question asking if you're dyslexic or not in a dyslexic friendly font
I also suggest a way to skip through all of the tutorial. The game is really hard to replay if you're forced to read around a minute of this.

Well done!
